Sofia's 1st Class Trip

Sofia made a new friend at school..Ava. I walked in to the classroom last week and Sofia was inviting Ava to our house for a playdate to watch The Diamond Castle..

After a cranky beginning, Sofia had a ball with Angie and Anthony on the slides and pretending to play Monster with a random dad in the park

Sofia and Angelina 'played' soccer (for about 5 minutes)

Got to the mall at 12pm, shopped, ate lunch, and saw a 2:10 movie (Igor). 5 minutes before the end-- the movie shut off!!! Anthony got scared (it was DARK) and the rest of us got fed up. Can you say REFUND!

Sofia was up ALL night Thursday night.. went to school on Friday and then to Ballet.. poor kid was EXHAUSTED. No more Friday night ballet, I promise!

Gymnastics is good

Sofia just started a new Gymnastics class at Kennetts.. it's a preschool class so I am not allowed to walk around with her. This is what Sofia thought of the class..

No DEAL!!!! We went to MONSTER GOLF and Sofia & Jillian wouldn't leave the arcade area.. too afraid to play golf with the glow-in-the-dark monsters.. Teri and I are going back next week without the kids.

Hannah is in Israel.. she isn't used to the beach since she spends most of her days on the Upper East Side of Manhattan.. I love this picture!

The Monroe No-Cheese Festival

Sofia did her 1st sand art (is that possible?!).. I stole the funnel and scoop when she was done.. they charged me $6 for a sand filled bear... I thought I deserved more for my money..

They call it the Monroe Cheese Festival, but after walking the entire thing-- there was NO CHEESE!! Every year we miss this festival.. this was our 1st time and we were so excited to sample cheese.. NO F'ing Cheese! I'm writing a letter...

Ballet Begins (and maybe ends)...

Ballet class started again today.. didn't go so well. She looks like such an angel in this picture.. looks can be deceiving.. Oh.. and look close.. Sofia was so proud that she pulled up her own leotard after going to the bathroom (but she forgot to pull up her underwear and tights.. nice look!).

Thanks to Jillian's Blog, Sofia decided that she wanted cake for dinner after her 1st day of school. So cake she shall have! We baked it last night. I should have thrown some meatballs or something in there...

Sunday Tea with Gia Mary

Rollerblading.. what a brilliant idea.. NOT!

Knee pads, elbow pads, gloves.. it took 30 minutes to get geared up and only 1 minute to realize I made a BIG mistake. Sofia didn't walk until she was 15 months old and she won't rollerblade until she is 15years old!
